The DGS‑1210‑28P is a smart managed gigabit PoE switch engineered for small to medium business networks, offices, campuses, and large IP camera deployments. It provides 24 × 10/100/1000 Mbps PoE ports capable of powering IP cameras, VoIP phones, wireless access points, and other PoE‑enabled devices directly over Ethernet cabling.

For network backbone connectivity and fiber uplink flexibility, the switch includes 4 × Gigabit RJ45/SFP combo ports supporting copper or optical modules.

As part of D‑Link’s smart managed series, it offers Layer 2+ switching features such as VLAN segmentation, QoS prioritization, IGMP snooping, link aggregation (LACP), static routing, and advanced security controls using ACLs and Safeguard Engine. It also includes Surveillance Mode and Auto Voice VLAN to optimize video and voice traffic.

Unlike fully unmanaged switches, this model supports remote and local management via Web GUI, CLI, and SNMP, enabling flexible configuration and monitoring for enterprise environments.
