The TP-Link TL-SG1005LP is a compact LiteWave unmanaged PoE+ switch designed for small-scale networks such as CCTV systems, home offices, and SMB setups. It requires no configuration and provides both data and power over Ethernet for connected devices.
It includes:
- 5 × 10/100/1000 Mbps Gigabit RJ45 ports
- 4 × PoE+ ports (IEEE 802.3af/at) for powering network devices
- 1 × non-PoE uplink port for router or core network connection
The switch delivers a total PoE budget of 40W, supporting up to 30W per port. It also includes intelligent power management to prioritize critical devices and prevent overload.
Additional features like QoS (802.1p/DSCP), IGMP Snooping, and fanless metal design make it suitable for stable and quiet operation in small deployments.
