Using dual‑band Wi‑Fi (802.11ac), the Deco M4 delivers combined wireless speeds up to AC1200 — up to 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 867 Mbps on 5 GHz — providing responsive performance for streaming, browsing, online gaming, video calls, and smart home connectivity.
Unlike a single router, multiple Deco units work together to create a single SSID mesh network so devices automatically connect to the best signal as you move around the space. Deco M4 also automatically selects the best wireless path and band for each device, using intelligent mesh optimization.
Installation is simple via the intuitive TP‑Link Deco mobile app, which also provides tools for parental controls, guest network setup, security features, and network monitoring.
