The MikroTik CRS106-1C-5S is part of MikroTik’s Cloud Router Switch (CRS) series, designed for simple and efficient fiber connectivity. It is a compact and cost-effective solution for environments that require multiple SFP ports without the complexity of high-end managed switches.

This switch includes 5 dedicated SFP ports for fiber connections and 1 combo port that can function as either a Gigabit Ethernet port or an additional SFP interface. The combo port provides flexibility for copper or fiber uplinks depending on deployment needs.

Powered by a 400 MHz CPU and 128 MB RAM, the CRS106 runs MikroTik RouterOS (Level 5 license) with a simplified web-based configuration interface. It supports essential Layer 2 features such as VLANs, port isolation, and basic traffic management, making it suitable for small ISP setups, FTTH deployments, and fiber distribution points.
